Books for oral surgeons & financial advisors
A book that
brings you clients.
A book that educates. Positions you as the obvious choice. Creates instant connection. And makes referral partners excited to share it.
What your book does
A gift for them,
referrals for you.
The questions you answer, your story and service, the experience of your patients all into something people can take home.
Educate before
the first conversation.
Answer the questions your patients or clients bring to you. Explain their options, address common misunderstandings, and help them recognize when your approach is a good fit.
A reader can arrive with a clearer understanding of what you do and better questions to ask.
Make your expertise
easy to recognize.
Your credentials matter. A book gives people room to see the judgment, experience, and purpose behind them.
Through your explanations and stories, readers get to know how you think, what you care about, and why they might trust you with an important decision.
Show what changed
for someone like them.
Bring your patients’ or clients’ stories into the book. Share where they began, what they were unsure about, and how your work changed their daily lives and what they could look forward to.
Choose stories your readers can see themselves in. Alongside testimonials, share the decisions, setbacks, and lessons that offer wisdom beyond the service itself.
Give referrals
something to carry.
A dentist, colleague, or professional partner can put your book into someone’s hands. It gives them a useful way to introduce you and helps the reader remember that introduction.
We plan where the book will go: referral conversations, events, follow-up emails, or the relationships you already have.
Built around your practice or firm
A pivotal book for…
Oral Surgeons
Help patients understand all their treatment options, what to expect, and the questions to bring to a consultation. Show what you specialize in and the work you love most—especially where it makes the greatest difference in your patients’ lives.
A book built around your specialty
If there’s one treatment you’re passionate about, give readers a deeper understanding of it while explaining the alternatives. Give referring dentists a thoughtful resource they can share when they introduce your practice.
Financial Advisors
Share the frameworks you use to weigh options and make decisions. Help prospective clients and professional partners understand the thinking behind your advice.
Build trust before the first meeting
Your personal stories and your clients’ experiences give readers a way to recognize their own concerns and see how you help. That connection can build trust before they even walk through your door.
This works best when you already serve patients or clients and have a plan for sharing the book. Your talks, articles, recordings, and educational materials give us a valuable place to begin.

Smile 2.0
I wrote and published this guide to help Dr. Baber explain his treatment approach to patients and give referring dentists a resource they could share.
In Andy’s words
“Patients love it.
Immediately creates authority.”

The person behind the writing
I’m Edgar.
I show why others trust you and why readers should too.
I grew my experience by working on several books and resources of a high income coach (Dr. David Phelps) which included writing, planning, design, publishing, printing, and marketing.
Here’s how we create your book
Start with
your reader.
We talk through your audience, your story, and the questions the book should answer. We agree on its scope, how you’ll use it, and the chapter outline before drafting begins.
Turn conversations
into chapters.
I draw from your interviews and existing material to write in your voice. You receive drafts along the way, with questions and any reconstructed details clearly marked for your review.
Check the facts.
Refine the writing.
We review the structure, language, and accuracy. You verify the clinical or financial claims, with your firm’s reviewer involved where needed. We confirm permissions for patient or client stories, and an outside proofreader checks the manuscript.
Design it.
Prepare to publish.
I coordinate the cover, page layout, and Amazon listing. You approve the design. We arrange the publishing accounts and ISBNs in your or your business’s name, and agree on any ebook or additional distribution options.
Hold the proof.
Share the book.
We each check a physical proof before the bulk order. Once approved, I coordinate printing and hand over the final files and account records. I can work with your team to connect readers to your existing website or a simple book landing page.
What I need from you.
Plan on around three substantial calls. Some projects need up to six interviews. Bring your existing materials, a headshot, any story permissions, and timely feedback on drafts.
You hold the rights.
You Keep the accounts.
Your publishing accounts and ISBN records are yours. You receive the final source files and the records needed to manage your book.
A clear schedule from the start
About 12–16 weeks
for a focused project.
Allow up to two weeks for planning, up to six weeks for writing, up to two weeks for design and formatting, and another three to four weeks for proofs, corrections, and printing. That schedule depends on a clear scope, materials ready to use, and draft feedback within 48 hours.
More extensive books can take longer than three months. Optional colleague review adds one to two weeks. We confirm the schedule and any event deadline together before we begin.
The investment
A book built
for your business.
Starting at $20,000
A book built around your expertise, your reader, and a clear plan for how you’ll use it. The investment reflects the planning, revisions, deliverables, and involvement your project needs.
Expanded projects, up to $30,000
For deeper research, more interviews or revision rounds, additional deliverables, or more support putting your book to work. We agree on the scope and fee before we begin.
The fee covers writing, editing, outside proofreading, formatting, design, and publishing coordination.
Budget roughly $3,000 separately for items such as ISBNs, a headshot, a domain, proof copies, and your bulk print order. Your actual cost depends on the print quantity, production choices, and what you already have. We agree on the full scope and expected costs before starting.
